IN GERMANY ASPARAGUS STANDS FOR MUCH MORE THAN JUST SUSTENANCE, IT BEARS THE HISTORIC WEIGHT OF A CULTURAL IDENTITY, HISTORY, ECONOMY, CURRENCY AND SEASONAL SALVATION. SINCE 1995 SPARGELBAUER LANDERER IN MECKENBEUREN IS CULTIVATING THE WHITE GOLD.  THE LANDERER´S SUCCESS STEMS FROM THEIR EFFORTS AND AIMING FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE.

THIS UNDERSCORES THAT WE ALL SHOULD THINK MORE IN QUALITY THAN IN PRICE AND QUANTITY. DURING THE HARVESTING SEASON THEY HIRE MANY WORKERS, TO PICK THE ASPARAGUS CAREFULLY. AFTERWARDS IT‘S PROCESSED AT THEIR FARM AND DELIVERED OR SOLD IN THE SHOP AT THE FARM.
